We are always honored when another wedding industry professional asks us to plan a party for their business. Last fall, we had the opportunity to work with Julie and the JS Design team to design and plan the 7th anniversary of their business and to celebrate the opening of their letterpress division, Cut & Press. We have worked with JS Design Custom to design custom stationery for many of our weddings and social events over the past six years. For the party style, Julie wanted to create a vintage carnival in the courtyard outside of her studio. We worked together to design the food – popcorn bar, vintage candy and desserts, fun cocktails, vintage sodas and a cupcake truck! Julie designed and created all of the incredible stationery products you see in the party photos including the grab bag favors, letterpress invitations, custom bar stirs, cupcake flags, chalkboard signs, photo booth props, custom food containers and candy display signage. The cold and rainy weather forced us to move the carnival inside but we still had a great time planning and hosting this incredibly fun celebration with Julie and her team.
Thank you to the wonderful vendors who helped us with the party:
JS Design Custom for designing and creating all the stationery products
Bella Fiori for the gorgeous vintage vases and flowers
Denver cupcake truck for the fabulous sweet treats
Kari Mclain for help with the photo booth
Autumn Burke Photography for sharing these outstanding party detail photos
Here is a sneak peak at one of the inspiration boards we created before we started designing the party:
I have had the pleasure of getting to know Jason and Gina over the past year on both a personal and professional level. They are wedding photographers in Denver which means we get to work together on events plus I got to work with them to plan their event. I am truly honored that they chose us to assist with planning and coordinating their Colorado wedding at Spruce Mountain Guest Ranch in Larkspur. They had the sweetest ceremony followed by a fun, station-style dinner. Guests enjoyed the gorgeous summer night with dancing on the outdoor patio. Gina designed an incredible dessert bar complete with vintage candy and multiple cakes displayed on vintage pedestals.
Thank you to the fabulous vendor team of A Music Plus (ceremony cello), Center Stage Entertainment (reception DJ), Footers Catering, Kelly Kakes, Bella Fiori and Face FX. A very special thank you to the incredibly talented Kern Photo for sharing these stunning images.
If you are looking for a gorgeous ranch-style wedding in Colorado, you must go see this Colorado wedding venue. Tara and her staff at Spruce Mountain are a joy to work with.
Amanda and Mike got married!! This sunny, sweet brunch wedding was held in the morning at the lovely Rembrandt Yard in Boulder Colorado. The weather was stunning, with a light breeze and warm sunshine all day! Guests loved the mimosas and breakfast munchies provided by Jubilations Catering, while also enjoying views of downtown Boulder and the foothills through the gallery windows. The bride looked gorgeous, with hair styled by Rachael from Girls and Curls, and makeup done by Natosha from Aphrodite Affairs – and she looked beautiful!
The sunflowers were overflowing every where you looked in the gallery, from her bouquet, to the sunflower heads used as place card holders, to the stunning cake created by Intricate Icings. The lovely flowers were created by Bella Fiori.
A huge thank you to the amazing photographers, Kevin and Jess, from This Modern Life Photography for providing these images. We love your work!
HUGE Congratulations to Amanda and Mike!
