We had such a great time working with Kari and John to plan their Colorado wedding. We planned the entire wedding in about 10 weeks. They wanted a casual morning wedding in the outdoors. We loved their whimsical fun wedding style and incorporated colorful flowers into their design. Their guest count included over forty kids. To make it fun for the younger guests, we had paddle boats, a special kid’s buffet and personalized coloring books. The kid’s tables included balloons and candy in the centerpieces. Thank you Kari and John for being an absolute joy to work with!

We had a fantastic time working with Jessica and Mike to coordinate their Colorado wedding at Crooked Willow Farms in Larkspur. Guests enjoyed the gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony followed by cocktail hour and a sumptuous plated dinner in the barn. A live country band kept guests on the dance floor all night. The wedding bundt cakes were a huge hit with guests. At the end of the evening, guests left with grandma’s homemade cookie mix in mason jars. Thank you Jessica and Mike for allowing us to be part of your celebration!

For months, wedding planning nearly consumed you. After you have returned from the honeymoon, you may also experience confusing feelings of depression even though life with your new spouse seems to be going well. Welcome to the post-wedding blues. While this doesn’t affect every bride, you may be surprised to learn that post-wedding blues are common for brides and even for mothers of the bride, especially if the mother was heavily involved in planning the wedding.

Here are a few tips to get you past the post-wedding blues:

1. Realize you’ve been through an intense period where the focus has been on romance. You are now in normal life mode, but that doesn’t mean romance has to end. Plan a romantic evening with your new spouse, perhaps for your first month anniversary. A nice dinner, along with a good bottle of wine or champagne, candles and your favorite music complete the mood. Thaw your wedding cake top to enjoy that evening. Or, arrange a weekend getaway.

2. Throw a post-wedding BBQ or cocktail party for immediate family members and close friends when your wedding pictures and video are ready. Show the video and hand out photos from the wedding. Relive some of those fabulous memories of the wedding day.

3. Scrapbook your wedding memories. Now that you have so much time on your hands, create a scrapbook of your wedding including pictures, an invitation, your place cards, table cards and other sentimental details from the planning process and wedding day.

4. It’s normal to feel some sadness or light depression for the first few weeks after your wedding and honeymoon. The key to getting over a post wedding letdown is to talk about your feelings with friends and family or with a professional counselor.

This incredibly amazing couple got married at Wild Horse Inn on 4th of July Weekend and what a crazy fun evening that was! The sweet wedding ceremony was held outside in the warm breezy weather, and then the party moved under a white tent decorated with lights and fabric. The beautiful flowers were designed by Pick Me! Floral Design and they did an incredible job.

The food was provided by Wild Horse Catering and was delicious. Guests were also treated to a dessert buffet created by Sweet Celebrations - SO delicious!

Ashley and Kyle had some serious dancers, I wish I could have the playlist from the reception. The tunes were provided by Mike from A Music Plus and it took super efforts to stop myself feet from dancing. At the end of the evening we opened the Scotch and Cigar Bar which was a huge hit with their wedding guests.

I loved planning with Ashley and Kyle for their Colorado wedding. They are incredibly genuine and had amazing families and friends.

We had the privilege of working with Cara over the past year to plan and design her Colorado wedding. Their modern style was accented by black and white damask with hints of vibrant red. We are so in love with this couple and their absolutely stunning Denver wedding! We worked with Sarah and Chris for the past year to plan their wedding in downtown Denver. Guests were transported via luxury coach to the Denver ceremony site at Cheesman Park Pavilion. This stunning pavilion fit perfectly with their old-world-Hollywood-style wedding. The bride and groom departed the ceremony in a classic Rolls Royce. Sarah and Chris are huge Colorado Rockies fans and made a stop at Coors Field for photos after the ceremony. They pre-purchased tickets so the entire bridal party could join them inside. They made such an entrance that they were featured on the Jumbotron!

Guests returned to the Westin Tabor Center for a fabulous cocktail hour and four course seated dinner. After dinner, guests enjoyed sumptuous wedding cake, a photo booth and a popcorn bar while they danced the night away. Thank you Sarah and Chris for being so wonderful to work with and for having the perfect vision of your wedding day. It was a beautiful day in June when Betina and Ken got married at Boettcher Mansion in Golden, Colorado. It was a sunny and breezy day, with a short mountain burst of rain that did not stop this outside ceremony on the patio of the mansion. The wedding guests were all formally dressed at this black tie wedding, where the reception fare included a multiple course dinner experience catered by Footers Catering along with wine pairings specially chosen by the bride and groom.

The delicious cake was provided by Intricate Icings and was gone in a flash. The guests were dancing (including tango) to the tunes of Quality Mobile Sounds and the parents had some relief thanks to the helpful staff of Wedding Sitters by Charity. It was a beautiful evening, the bride looked lovely(thanks to Makeup by Janine) and it was a pleasure to work with this couple!
