Rachael and Kanit were married in June at the gorgeous Della Terra Mountain Chateaux. When coming up with a design for their wedding, they wanted to incorporate modern and unique style with a bit of Asian influence. We absolutely loved working with them over the past year to plan their destination wedding in Colorado. Rachael was so relaxed and easy going during the planning process. She was truly a dream to work with and we love keeping in touch with her and Kanit.

The downtown Denver wedding of Dominique & Myles was completely put on by a great local organization, Wish Upon A Wedding.
Wish Upon A Wedding is a non profit organization dedicated to providing weddings and vow renewals to couples facing terminal illness or other serious life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. Often, couples facing such situations do not have the energy, time, money, or resources needed to plan their wedding. Wish Upon A Wedding takes care of all the details, offering couples a chance to relax and enjoy a very special day while surrounded by the love of their closest family and friends. On March 12, 2011 Dominique & Myles were wed at the The Ritz-Carlton in downtown Denver.
“The future is unknown, it is a blur as it is not made yet. Everyday I worry about Myles being a single father, I worry that my kids will lose me sooner rather then later,” commented the bride. “Being able to have a wedding that is so long coming with out any of the financial stress or struggle to plan is a dream.”
“Dominique has always wanted the fairy tale wedding. Her dream before she dies is to be his wife. Financially we are unable to do this. We also never imagined that she would be taken from us at such a young age and that we’d not be able to have that wedding. It has become my mission to get her this dream. I want my sister to have her dream wedding, I want her to know the feeling of being in a wedding gown and feeling beautiful again,” pleaded Sheleane.
We had the honor of donating our wedding planning services to Dominique and Myles. They were a pleasure to work with along with the oustanding team of vendors who all worked tirelessly to make this wedding happen.
Congratulations to Dominique & Myles!

We loved working with Kelsey and Jeremy to plan their winter wedding in downtown Denver. After researching many venues, they chose the Central Presbyterian Church for the ceremony and the University Club for their reception. We worked together to develop a blue and silver color palette and incorporated a tree motif into the design. We truly enjoyed working with these two and wish them the absolute best wishes.
Thank you to our outstanding team of Denver wedding vendors:
Intricate Icings - cake design, groom’s cake and favors
Plum Sage Flowers- floral design
Lionsgate Designs - brooch bouquet
Great Time DJ - reception entertainment
Girls and Curls - hair styles
Makeup by Janine - makeup
Becky Young Photography - photography

You can see more gorgeous images from this winter wedding on Becky Young’s photography blog. Kelsey and Jeremy’s downtown Denver wedding was also featured on Mile High Bride last week!

We absolutely loved every minute of working with Victoria and Adam to plan their Estes Park wedding at Della Terra Mountain Chateau. They had a gorgeous indoor ceremony with the afternoon sun streaming in. Guests enjoyed a fantastic cocktail hour followed by an amazing plated dinner by Catering by Design. Victoria and Adam had a color palette of plum, deep pink and ruby which was perfect for a winter wedding. Plum Sage Flowers did an incredible job with their floral design. Groove Nation Orchestra totally rocked the dance floor all night long. They are easily one of the best bands in Colorado for weddings and special events. We booked the band through A Music Plus along with a DJ to emcee and play during band breaks. Sweet Celebrations created an incredible dessert bar including cupcakes, chocolate mousse cups, peanut butter balls and cheesecake bites. The bride’s grandma created one of her infamous chocolate cakes for the bride and groom to cut. Thank you to Bella Capelli Salon for the wonderful hair and makeup services.
Thank you to This Modern Life Photographers for sharing these AMAZING Colorado wedding photos with us.

Colorado delivered the perfect winter landscape as light fluffy snowflakes began to fall as guests arrived at the historic St Malo Church (www.saintmalo.org) for Danielle and Michael’s Estes Park wedding. The bride arrived in style riding in a beautiful Rolls-Royce provided by Boulder Denver Limousines (www.boulderdenverlimo.com). The wedding party walked down the aisle to the beautiful sound of Mary Keener (www.marykeener.com) playing the harp. Following the ceremony guests arrived at Wild Basin Lodge (www.wildbasinlodge.com) for a night of good food, spirits and dancing. The guest tables were perfectly set with handmade table runners and napkins and beautiful florals provided by Floral Designs of Europe (www.fdofeurope.com) Colorado Rose Cake Company (www.coloradorosecakeco.com) did an outstanding job creating a cake the reflected the bride and groom’s love of skiing. Guests danced the night away to all the latest hits provided by Sounds of the Rockies (www.soundsoftherockies.com) The vintage inspired candy bar and cigar bar kept the party going late into the night. A unique aspect to this wedding was the addition of Keith a.k.a Scramble Campbell (www.scramblecampbell.com), a local artist who was tasked with creating a painting to commemorate this joyous day. Keith braved the weather and sat in a field in the middle of the snow storm sketching St. Malo Church. He then moved to the reception where he finished his painting. Keith was a great addition to the festivities; the painting that he made will be a lasting reminder of this wonderful day for Danielle and Michael. We loved making this couples vision become a reality and were honored to be a part of their big day! Thank you Cheryl with Artist I Photography (www.artistiphotography.com), who did a great job documenting the day.

Erin and Jeff’s reception was nothing short of spectacular. We couldn’t have been more pleased to hear guests gasp with excitement as they walked into the transformed ballroom. The ballroom was completely draped in sheer white fabric with Tiffany blue up-lighting all around the room and white pinspot lights showcasing each centerpiece. Table linens from Chair Covers & Linens were Tiffany blue satin with a gorgeous sparkly diamond rhinestone table runners. Perfect Petal created a combination of tall and short centerpieces of white hydrangea, orchids and white roses with hanging crystals. Guests enjoyed great dance music by the band Phat Daddy with Glenn from ShowTek Events as the emcee. The uplights, pinspot lights and custom monogram gobo lighting were provided by AVT Event Technologies. Draping was done by John Quail, “The Drape Guy”. Guests were treated to gourmet chocolate truffle favors wrapped in silver jewel boxes at each place setting.

The six tier wedding cake was AMAZING! Intricate Icings created a perfectly designed confection to match the wedding style. The fondant ribbon had rhinestone accents and the cake was dusted with sparkles. After the cake was cut and guests started dancing, we revealed a SURPRISE dessert bar complete with an ice sculpture, tiffany blue petit fours and mini pies from Shamane’s Bake Shop and a huge assortment of candy including M&M’s with Erin and Jeff’s engagement pictures on them. Lovely Confections Bakery created six different types of cupcakes for this incredible dessert display. We had a great time finding modern glassware, ribbon and rhinestone buckles to pull the sparkle design into every element of the dessert bar. Thank you to Jenna Walker for sharing these beautiful wedding pictures with us.
We truly had such a wonderful time with Erin, Jeff and their families. The entire planning process involved the bride, groom and Erin’s wonderful parents. They are an incredible family and we are honored that they chose us to plan their wedding celebration.
You can see their wedding ceremony feature on the blog along with their time lapse setup video. Locker Partners also shared their wedding video with us.

We LOVED working with Erin, Jeff and their families over the past ten months to plan their Denver wedding for 350 guests at the Omni Interlocken Resort. Erin wanted Tiffany blue as her main wedding color. She also liked sparkly details, crystals and rhinestones. We had a custom monogram created that we used throughout many of the wedding elements starting with their aisle runner from Etsy. The stunning ceremony floral and hanging crystal backdrop were created by the Perfect Petal. The draping was done by John Quail, “The Drape Guy”. Their custom monogram unity candle set and programs were created by fantastic Etsy designers. Ceremony music was provided by Metropolitan Strings. Hair and makeup for Erin and all of her bridesmaids was done by Leslie Arts. Thank you to the incredibly talented Jenna Walker for sharing their gorgeous wedding images!
You can see Erin and Jeff’ wedding video on our blog along with the time lapse setup video for their reception.
Stay tuned for Erin & Jeff’s stunning wedding reception details next…

This beautiful and creative couple, Holly and Seth, got married on a warm day in August at a stunning Colorado venue called Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfied. Having the mountains within reach and an adorable red barn, Chatfield is a dream.
Holly and Seth are incredibly talented and designed every aspect of their wedding details, from the scrabble table names, to the ceremony and reception direction posts, to the hidden message on the cake. Holly is also a talented graphic designer and after having so much fun designing her own wedding, she has started created wedding-related papers for other brides.
The bride’s makeup was styled by Natosha from Aphrodite Affairs. The beautiful flowers were created by Bella Fiori and they did an amazing job! The adorable cake was designed by Intricate Icings, and as always it is perfect! The beautiful day was captured by Lupher Arts for video - and these AMAZING photos were provided by Fuse Photographic. Thank you Travis and Laura for sharing their stunning wedding photos.

It was a pleasure to work with Amy and Aaron on their wedding day. They had a beautiful September wedding in Breckenridge, nestled high among the mountains. The panoramic view from the deck at the Lodge at Breckenridge provided a breathtaking backdrop as the bride walked down the aisle. The entire ceremony was written by the couple, so every detail was unique to their special story. After the wedding ceremony, the beautiful fall colors outside poured into the reception space and complimented the design elements, such as the tall manzanita branch centerpieces with hanging candles done by Bloom in Breckenridge. Thank you to Brian Kraft Photography for capturing this adorable couple with these fantastic photos. Cake and catering were done by Gilchrist Catering.

Sarah and John’s wedding happened on a bright and sunny August day in the adorable town of Beaver Creek, Colorado. The ceremony was held at the Beaver Creek Chapel, where sunlight streamed through the large stained-glass window as they gave their vows. The beautiful bouquets and flowers were all created by the talented Plum Sage Florist.
The cocktail hour and reception were held at a beautiful private home in the Mountain Star neighborhood of Avon, Colorado and guests were transported there in shuttles provided by All Mountain Transportation. The guests enjoyed the warm night under clean white tenting provided by Colorado Party Rentals and enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and dinner buffet which were created by Vail Catering Concepts. The guests danced the night away with the great tunes from the Don Watson Band - they were awesome!
Special thanks to Pettit Photography for these amazing images! Kent was incredibly professional, highly experienced and genuinely interested in capturing the intimacies of the day.
Congratulations to Sarah and John!

We had an incredible time working with Briar, Elliot and their families over the past year to plan their Colorado wedding at Spruce Mountain Guest Ranch in Larkspur, Colorado. They were such a fun family to work with. They wanted a fun party with amazing food, a great band and an unforgettable experience. We shuttled all their guests in luxury motor coach buses from downtown Denver to Spruce Mountain. Their ceremony was in an open meadow with outstanding views of the ranch. As the ceremony ended, Briar and Elliot ran across the meadow for a dramatic ceremony exit. Guests then enjoyed a fantastic outdoor cocktail hour with a fresh oyster bar and other amazing appetizers. For dinner, guests were served a sumptuous family style dinner. Briar and Elliot have a true passion for Italy and all things Italian. To bring in this influence, we had an authentic gelato cart serving fresh gelato for all the guests. The band kept the dance floor packed all night. As always, Spruce Mountain was a joy to work with. Briar and Elliot, we wish you the absolute best in your lives together!

We had so much fun working with Shay and Mason over the past eight months to plan their destination wedding in Breckenridge. They wanted an intimate atmosphere and a place where all of their 35 guests could stay. The gorgeous Bristlecone Lodge fit perfectly for them. There is a small outside yard with the mountains as a backdrop. All their wedding guests stayed at the house for the weekend. We had a catered dinner party in the dining room and guests danced and sang karaoke for the rest of the evening. Huge congrats and best wishes to Shay and Mason!

Christy and Gabe were such an amazing couple to work with. Even though the bride lived in two different states during the planning process, we made sure every detail was covered!
Their beautiful wedding couldn’t have had a better day in Breckenridge Colorado, where the sun was bright and the blue sky looked like it could go on forever. The ceremony and reception were held at Ten Mile Station, a venue that we love at Save the Date Events. It is part ski lodge, part wedding site and is perfect for any mountain lover!
The lovely flowers were created by Petal and Bean, who also made an etched C&G base for her Wish Tree, and found Christy a perfect deep Merlot aisle runner. The ceremony music was provided by Sister’s Quartet, and the beautiful ceremony was given by Pastor Rasmussen. We loved the two flawless cakes that were baked by Intricate Icings as well.
Holly Canfield couldn’t have done a better job with the stationary items, they were amazing! The DJ provided by A Music Plus had the guests dancing all night!
Thank you so much to Robert from Fine Art Weddings for these gorgeous photographs!

We had a great time working with Grayson and Bryan over the past year to plan their destination wedding in Vail, Colorado. Grayson, Bryan and their families all live near Atlanta but they love the Colorado mountains and chose to celebrate their wedding weekend here. They wanted to incorporate a few mountain elements into their wedding but still maintain a natural elegance. Their color palette was navy, lavender and green. The Larkspur Restaurant in Vail was the perfect choice for their wedding. The Larkpur is an upscale restaurant located at the base of Golden Peak. For the wedding ceremony, chairs and a chuppah were set on the lawn with gorgeous mountains as the backdrop. Guests enjoyed cocktails on the outdoor patio followed by an incredible seated dinner in the dining room at the Larkspur. When the band was ready to start, guests moved into the Great Room for toasts, cake cutting and dancing. Grayson and Bryan had a fantastic exit with sparklers to a horse drawn carriage.

We had a fantastic time working with Lisa, Ryan and their families over the past year to plan their destination wedding in Breckenridge. Ten Mile Station set the backdrop for their gorgeous rustic mountain wedding. We incorporated birch bark centerpieces with a mix of pink flowers and pinecone accents. The beautiful wedding cake design copied the lace pattern from the mother’s wedding dress. Guests had a fantastic time with the oxygen bar running all evening and Great Time DJs kept the dance floor packed. Lisa and Ryan left in a horse drawn carriage with guests cheering as they exited. Colorado Wedding Photographers: Jason+Gina and Premium Digital Solutions did a fabulous job capturing the details of the wedding day through pictures and video.

This incredibly amazing couple got married at Wild Horse Inn on 4th of July Weekend and what a crazy fun evening that was! The sweet wedding ceremony was held outside in the warm breezy weather, and then the party moved under a white tent decorated with lights and fabric. The beautiful flowers were designed by Pick Me! Floral Design and they did an incredible job.
The food was provided by Wild Horse Catering and was delicious. Guests were also treated to a dessert buffet created by Sweet Celebrations - SO delicious!
Ashley and Kyle had some serious dancers, I wish I could have the playlist from the reception. The tunes were provided by Mike from A Music Plus and it took super efforts to stop myself feet from dancing. At the end of the evening we opened the Scotch and Cigar Bar which was a huge hit with their wedding guests.
I loved planning with Ashley and Kyle for their Colorado wedding. They are incredibly genuine and had amazing families and friends.
Special thanks to the super team at Colorado Wedding Photograhers: Jason+Gina to a fabulous job!
