Kerry and Blake were married last fall at the beautiful Evans Chapel on the DU Campus. Their reception was held at the historic Manor House in the Ken Caryl Valley. This couple couldn’t have been more pleasurable to work with, even though we spent most of our time on Skype since they were living in Germany during the planning period!
Kerry had the desire to be surrounded by soft, lush flowers, blush tones and simple textures. We worked with an amazing florist, Annie Aubert, to accomplish Kerry’s dreams for her wedding day. The chapel was draped in lovely pale flowers and soft candle light.
Their reception at the Manor House was filled with love and laughter - and even when the party was officially over, one of their friends hopped on the piano for a group choir session before their transportation arrived.
It was amazing to see the love this bride and groom had on their wedding day, and I will truly miss working with them!
Thanks to the fantastic photographer, Chris McLaughlin for these awesome images! Planning and design by Gabby at Save the Date Events.

Jessamyn and Erik were married this summer at the lovely Hudson Gardens in Littleton, Colorado. Jessamyn and Erik are both active runners and wanted their wholesome lifestyle to truly shine on their wedding day. From the adorable garden flower pot centerpieces created by Hillside Consultants, to the fresh local foods at their reception cooked up by Footers Catering, they really accomplished that idea.
Erik’s mother baked and designed the cake herself, and did a fantastic job! Jessamyn’s father worked with Footers to pair amazing local wines and beers for the dinner, and every detail of the ceremony (officiated by the father of the bride) was incredibly special and heartfelt.
Special thanks to the amazing photographer Paul Steinke for these beautiful images! Planning and coordination by Gabby at Save the Date Events.

It was so much fun planning Carrie and Derek’s wedding! We love their sense of humor and zest for life. Della Terra was the backdrop for this beautiful Colorado wedding. The weather was absolutely perfect and Carrie and Derek said their vows at the beautiful outside ceremony location. Herb, better known as Herbie the Love Judge, kept the theme of humor running through the ceremony while imparting words of wisdom on this beautiful couple. The ceremony was set to music provide by Sure Thing Entertainment, the ring bearer pulled the flower girl in an adorable red wagon as Carrie prepared to walk down the aisle. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers on the deck at Della Terra. Guests were invited into a beautiful ballroom with tables decorated in deep purple and brown satin linens. PlumSage brought the outside indoors with aspen birch centerpieces. We also brought nature inside by using pine cones as escort card holders. Guest enjoyed the most creative variety of action stations that I have ever seen at a wedding, from the “Brinner station” (breakfast for dinner), which had waffles on a stick and chocolate syrup, to the mac and cheese bar, guests enjoyed the tasty treats provided by Footers Catering.

The cake was equally unique, they had a cake that looked like an Aspen tree but was topped with a bride and groom gummy bear couple. Accompanying the wedding cake was a grooms cake that was a glass of Guinness that depicted the groom floating in the beer with his dog, Dbar desserts did an outstanding job on the cake designs. After dinner, it was time for dancing with Raising Cain Band. The guests worked up an appetite for the beautiful candy buffet provide by Pink Posey and a late night chocolate fountain. Jason+Gina and 1321 studios did an amazing job with photography and video production. Planning and design by Brynn at Save the Date Events.

I love intimate weddings! Katie and Jason invited their closest family and friends to the beautiful Park Hyatt Beaver Creek to share in their special day. Katie walked down the aisle to beautiful music created by Peek Performances, the ceremony was artfully performed by Gabrielle Woods of Mindful Marriage Consultants. Janine with Make up By Janine did an outstanding job making Katie look her best with some killer eyelashes! Plum Sage Flowers made Katie’s centerpiece vision become a reality and Jason+Gina Photography did a fabulous job documenting the day.
Katie always had her guests in mind when planning the wedding, from a wonderful meal and tasty candy bar to blankets in case they were cold. The guests at this wedding were absolutely taken care of. After dinner, guest enjoyed a little pool in the billiards room at the Park Hyatt, it was the perfect end to a perfect day. Thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day! Planning and coordination by Brynn at Save the Date Events.

We had such an incredible time planning Marissa and Travis’ destination wedding in Vail, Colorado. We mainly worked with Marissa’s wonderful mom to plan the details of the wedding. Only 24 lucky guests were invited to this intimate Colorado wedding. The ceremony was on the Vail Wedding Deck followed by cocktail hour and a plated dinner at the Baus House, a family friend’s home at the base of Vail mountain. An acoustic guitarist provided all of the entertainment for both the ceremony and reception. We used long bamboo and wood tables to create a dinner party atmosphere in the back yard of the house. Market lights and candles helped with the warm ambiance. Their custom designed Vail welcome bags and warm blankets were a treat for all of the guests.
Thank you to the incredible vendor team:

Rosie and Taylor were one of the sweetest couples we have had the pleasure of working with. They both live in Washington DC and wanted a fabulous tent wedding at the home of Taylor’s mom in Denver. Rosie had great design ideas and we loved working together to create the overall atmosphere. We incorporated many wonderful little details such as custom made napkins, grandma’s antique linens at cocktail hour and a custom cake made with love from a family friend. The groom’s only request was that the wedding be Bronco’s colors - orange and blue.
The clean look of the wood tables and bamboo chairs really made a style impact as guests entered the tent. Pick Me did an oustanding job with the florals and decor. Thank you Rosie and Taylor for being so wonderful to work with. You truly touched our hearts and we wish you the absolute best wishes!

Kate and Kevin are arguably one of the most adorable couples in the world! It was so much fun working with these two on their light, airy, and happy wedding this past August at Della Terra. For their colors, soft champagne provided an excellent backdrop for bold, bright hues of red and orange. These colors emanated from every detail, from the linens and centerpieces to the bridesmaids’ dresses and shoes—even to the wedding cake, which was inspired by Kate’s gorgeous wedding dress.
It was the little things made this wedding very memorable. For example, because Kevin’s birthday was the day after the wedding, Kate surprised him with a Rubik’s cube birthday cake (an iconic symbol of the groom’s childhood). That moment, and many others, made this wedding a true original. Special thanks go to Rachael Grace Photography for capturing those moments. Congrats Kate and Kevin!

We had so much fun planning Katie and Tim’s destination wedding in Breckenridge! V3 Ranch set the tone for an intimate mountain escape for guests. Katie and Tim said “I Do” beneath blue skies on V3’s perfectly manicured lawn and then moved to the house for wonderful cocktails and dinner provided by Footers Catering, Plum Sage Florals created fun centerpieces that complimented the beautiful log cabin. Samantha with Lady Charm Artistry made Katie glow for her special day.

After dinner guests moved downstairs to enjoy a dessert buffet a photobooth, foosball, fire pit, and s’mores! Katie wanted to surprise Tim with a angry bird cupcakes from Intricate Icings and then had a little fun in the photobooth with them! Revert Photo documented the details and emotion of the day perfectly! It was such a pleasure to plan this wedding and I wish Katie and Tim nothing but love and laughter for years to come!

We had the pleasure of working with Orlee and John to create their dream rustic Colorado wedding with a touch of elegance! You can literally see sparks fly when Orlee and John look at each other. Spruce Mountain Guest Ranchin Larkspur set the scene for this beautiful wedding. The rain forced us to move the ceremony inside, but the amazing hand crafted chuppah and flowers that Bella Fiori created brought the outside in! Guests enjoyed a tasty meal created by Epicurean Catering. After all the delicious food, guests were ready to dance the night away to tunes from Soul X. The music was so good that guests didn’t even notice the light rain that fell throughout the evening. Das Meyer provided a tasty cake that went perfectly with the Viennese table. If you are not familiar with what a Viennese table is, I will make it simple, it is pretty much a girls dream (at least this girl’s dream): a rolling table of amazing desserts surrounded by sparklers! This day was so special because you could see the endless love between Orlee and John the whole night, the fabulous Autumn Burke and 1321 Studios documented the day perfectly. Planning and coordination for this event was done by Brynn at Save the Date Events. Thank you to Autumn Burke Photography for sharing some their beautiful wedding images with us!

Diana and Devin planned their entire Colorado wedding from their home in Texas. From the start, Diana knew she wanted to mix the color blue-a deliberate nod to the Blue Bonnet, the Texas state flower-and bright, summery yellow. Blue Colorado skies, yellow roses and sunflowers, and the surrounding vibrancy of the ski town helped bring this combination to life.
The distinctive wood and steel elements of Allie’s cabin proved to be a welcoming base for the brightly incorporated color scheme. The intimate wedding took place in Allie’s Cabin, nestled high above the town of Beaver Creek, on a deck facing aspen covered mountain side. Following the ceremony, guests moved indoors for a fabulous night of dinner and dancing. Later, honey jars from a local Colorado honey company were given out as favors.

It was a great pleasure to work with this amazingly cute couple and their family to put together one incredible day. Thank you so much to This Modern Life Photography for these fantastic images!

Cindy and Mike were the sweetest couple to work with! Even though they lived in different states, they were able to keep the romance alive - and their love shows in the pictures from their stunning park wedding. It was a warm Saturday at City Park in Denver, so Mike and the guys tossed a football while waiting for his bride to arrive. The beautiful setup was created by Bella Rents and the stunning flowers provided by Bella Fiori.
Cindy arrived in a stunning vintage Rolls Royce, which matched her theme perfectly - Cindy loves Art Deco and The Great Gatsby. After a short ceremony at the park, the guests were escorted to the Oxford Hotel (one of the oldest hotels in Denver!) where her guests enjoyed a station-style dinner. The delightful cake was created by Slice Cake Studio and Shutterbooth had the guests giggling and taking pictures all night! Planning and design by Gabby at Save the Date Events.
Many thanks to the amazing to the amazing team at Studio JK for these images. So romantic!

We had such an amazing time planning Lindsey & David’s wedding in the beautiful mountain town, Aspen. We couldn’t have asked for better weather that July weekend!
The lovely couple hosted their family and friends at the historic Hotel Jerome, where the intricate carved wood ceilings, beautiful antique furniture and lush textiles went perfectly with Lindsey’s wedding style; she wanted to stick with a soft blushing color theme, mainly whites with a hint of pale pink.
The ceremony was held at the stunning Maroon Bells (probably my number one favorite ceremony spot in the state!) and the reception in the Wheeler Room at Hotel Jerome. The bride envisioned, along with her florist The Aspen Branch, the tables set with low landscape style gardens with moss, lush roses, garden greens and a few pops of pale pink peonies. Guests danced the night away to the DJ from A Music+ and enjoyed the beautiful (and delicious!) cake from Delissious Cake Studio. Planning and design by Gabby at Save the Date Events.
Thanks to the amazing team at Zorn Photography for these images - it was a blast to work with them!

We loved working with Stephanie and Sam for their completely unique wedding in downtown Denver. The edgy collided with softness for this devastatingly beautiful bride and her lovely details. Steph loved whimsical and swirly patterns, while Sam preferred sharp angles and bold lines.
Thanks to the amazing Plum Sage Flowersand their team, they were able to pull this off in the details. From the graphic linens, to the soft lush florals, there was a marriage of their style preferences at every turn!
Stephanie’s couture purple gown was a hand-drawn by the bride herself and created by the fabulous Alisa Benay. Steph also created her necklace, which fell delicately down her back (and coordinated with the dress, of course!)
The lovely ceremony was at St Thomas Episcopal Church, where the girls wore long black gowns and had amazing hair and makeup done by Natosha Cooke Makeup Artistry.
We loved the art-inspired dishes created by the chefs at Catering by Design that paired perfectly with the stunning cake by Intricate Icings, in the setting of their reception at ArtWork Network on Santa Fe.
Thanks to the amazing team at This Modern Life for these images! You can also see their fabulous ultra modern Denver engagement photos on our blog. Planning and design by Gabby at Save the Date Events.

We had the pleasure of pulling together all the details for Michelle and Ted’s Wedding in Keystone. The rain held off and we had a beautiful mountain top ceremony followed by a reception at The Summit House. This was truly a family affair, all of the florals and centerpieces were provided by a family friend who drove the items from Texas and set them up with a lot of love. Guests enjoyed a beautiful meal and cake provided by Keystone Resorts. The crowd danced the night away to tunes from Great Time DJ and hopped in a gondola photobooth provided by Ear2Ear photobooths Thank you to Tiffany with Avant Images for documenting the day and sharing the images with us! Thuy and Curtis had an amazing and elegant wedding in downtown Denver this past May! Their ceremony took place at Holy Ghost Church; and following the ceremony, guests were led to Kevin Taylor’s at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House to enjoy a five-star reception. The concept for the wedding was originally inspired by a bouquet of red roses, gold orchids, and a touch of ostrich feathers that that had caught the attention of the bride early in the planning stages. However, the bride and groom’s different backgrounds and cultures proved to be equally important to the overall personality of the day’s events, as the elements of Vietnamese and American tradition were brought together for a totally unique experience. Little touches such as the photo booth near the dance floor gave guests a chance to leave a lasting impression with the happy couple. Thank you to Patrick Edmiston for the beautiful photos!

Rachael and Kanit were married in June at the gorgeous Della Terra Mountain Chateaux. When coming up with a design for their wedding, they wanted to incorporate modern and unique style with a bit of Asian influence. We absolutely loved working with them over the past year to plan their destination wedding in Colorado. Rachael was so relaxed and easy going during the planning process. She was truly a dream to work with and we love keeping in touch with her and Kanit.

The downtown Denver wedding of Dominique & Myles was completely put on by a great local organization, Wish Upon A Wedding.
Wish Upon A Wedding is a non profit organization dedicated to providing weddings and vow renewals to couples facing terminal illness or other serious life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. Often, couples facing such situations do not have the energy, time, money, or resources needed to plan their wedding. Wish Upon A Wedding takes care of all the details, offering couples a chance to relax and enjoy a very special day while surrounded by the love of their closest family and friends. On March 12, 2011 Dominique & Myles were wed at the The Ritz-Carlton in downtown Denver.
“The future is unknown, it is a blur as it is not made yet. Everyday I worry about Myles being a single father, I worry that my kids will lose me sooner rather then later,” commented the bride. “Being able to have a wedding that is so long coming with out any of the financial stress or struggle to plan is a dream.”
“Dominique has always wanted the fairy tale wedding. Her dream before she dies is to be his wife. Financially we are unable to do this. We also never imagined that she would be taken from us at such a young age and that we’d not be able to have that wedding. It has become my mission to get her this dream. I want my sister to have her dream wedding, I want her to know the feeling of being in a wedding gown and feeling beautiful again,” pleaded Sheleane.
We had the honor of donating our wedding planning services to Dominique and Myles. They were a pleasure to work with along with the oustanding team of vendors who all worked tirelessly to make this wedding happen.
Congratulations to Dominique & Myles!

We absolutely loved every minute of working with Victoria and Adam to plan their Estes Park wedding at Della Terra Mountain Chateau. They had a gorgeous indoor ceremony with the afternoon sun streaming in. Guests enjoyed a fantastic cocktail hour followed by an amazing plated dinner by Catering by Design. Victoria and Adam had a color palette of plum, deep pink and ruby which was perfect for a winter wedding. Plum Sage Flowers did an incredible job with their floral design. Groove Nation Orchestra totally rocked the dance floor all night long. They are easily one of the best bands in Colorado for weddings and special events. We booked the band through A Music Plus along with a DJ to emcee and play during band breaks. Sweet Celebrations created an incredible dessert bar including cupcakes, chocolate mousse cups, peanut butter balls and cheesecake bites. The bride’s grandma created one of her infamous chocolate cakes for the bride and groom to cut. Thank you to Bella Capelli Salon for the wonderful hair and makeup services.
Thank you to This Modern Life Photographers for sharing these AMAZING Colorado wedding photos with us.
