If you are planning a wedding, you must check out Pinterest. Yes, it is another form of social media and can be a total time suck, however, it is an incredibly easy way to keep all your online wedding inspiration in one place and to easily find new ideas to “pin”. Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.
Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests. To get started, request an invite from their home page. Typically you will recieve the invitation via email within a few days. Here is an example of a pinboard for planning a wedding. Pinterest is a great way to share your ideas and vision with your wedding vendors as well as your bridesmaids and mom.
Rosie and Taylor were one of the sweetest couples we have had the pleasure of working with. They both live in Washington DC and wanted a fabulous tent wedding at the home of Taylor’s mom in Denver. Rosie had great design ideas and we loved working together to create the overall atmosphere. We incorporated many wonderful little details such as custom made napkins, grandma’s antique linens at cocktail hour and a custom cake made with love from a family friend. The groom’s only request was that the wedding be Bronco’s colors - orange and blue.
The clean look of the wood tables and bamboo chairs really made a style impact as guests entered the tent. Pick Me did an oustanding job with the florals and decor. Thank you Rosie and Taylor for being so wonderful to work with. You truly touched our hearts and we wish you the absolute best wishes!
Kate and Kevin are arguably one of the most adorable couples in the world! It was so much fun working with these two on their light, airy, and happy wedding this past August at Della Terra. For their colors, soft champagne provided an excellent backdrop for bold, bright hues of red and orange. These colors emanated from every detail, from the linens and centerpieces to the bridesmaids’ dresses and shoes—even to the wedding cake, which was inspired by Kate’s gorgeous wedding dress.
It was the little things made this wedding very memorable. For example, because Kevin’s birthday was the day after the wedding, Kate surprised him with a Rubik’s cube birthday cake (an iconic symbol of the groom’s childhood). That moment, and many others, made this wedding a true original. Special thanks go to Rachael Grace Photography for capturing those moments. Congrats Kate and Kevin!
We had such a great time working with Kate and Kevin to plan their wedding at Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park. Check out their gorgeous wedding video by Lupher Arts.
We had so much fun planning Katie and Tim’s destination wedding in Breckenridge! V3 Ranch set the tone for an intimate mountain escape for guests. Katie and Tim said “I Do” beneath blue skies on V3’s perfectly manicured lawn and then moved to the house for wonderful cocktails and dinner provided by Footers Catering, Plum Sage Florals created fun centerpieces that complimented the beautiful log cabin. Samantha with Lady Charm Artistry made Katie glow for her special day.
After dinner guests moved downstairs to enjoy a dessert buffet a photobooth, foosball, fire pit, and s’mores! Katie wanted to surprise Tim with a angry bird cupcakes from Intricate Icings and then had a little fun in the photobooth with them! Revert Photo documented the details and emotion of the day perfectly! It was such a pleasure to plan this wedding and I wish Katie and Tim nothing but love and laughter for years to come!

We had the pleasure of working with Orlee and John to create their dream rustic Colorado wedding with a touch of elegance! You can literally see sparks fly when Orlee and John look at each other. Spruce Mountain Guest Ranchin Larkspur set the scene for this beautiful wedding. The rain forced us to move the ceremony inside, but the amazing hand crafted chuppah and flowers that Bella Fiori created brought the outside in! Guests enjoyed a tasty meal created by Epicurean Catering. After all the delicious food, guests were ready to dance the night away to tunes from Soul X. The music was so good that guests didn’t even notice the light rain that fell throughout the evening. Das Meyer provided a tasty cake that went perfectly with the Viennese table. If you are not familiar with what a Viennese table is, I will make it simple, it is pretty much a girls dream (at least this girl’s dream): a rolling table of amazing desserts surrounded by sparklers! This day was so special because you could see the endless love between Orlee and John the whole night, the fabulous Autumn Burke and 1321 Studios documented the day perfectly. Planning and coordination for this event was done by Brynn at Save the Date Events. Thank you to Autumn Burke Photography for sharing some their beautiful wedding images with us!
Diana and Devin planned their entire Colorado wedding from their home in Texas. From the start, Diana knew she wanted to mix the color blue-a deliberate nod to the Blue Bonnet, the Texas state flower-and bright, summery yellow. Blue Colorado skies, yellow roses and sunflowers, and the surrounding vibrancy of the ski town helped bring this combination to life.
The distinctive wood and steel elements of Allie’s cabin proved to be a welcoming base for the brightly incorporated color scheme. The intimate wedding took place in Allie’s Cabin, nestled high above the town of Beaver Creek, on a deck facing aspen covered mountain side. Following the ceremony, guests moved indoors for a fabulous night of dinner and dancing. Later, honey jars from a local Colorado honey company were given out as favors.
It was a great pleasure to work with this amazingly cute couple and their family to put together one incredible day. Thank you so much to This Modern Life Photography for these fantastic images!
Cindy and Mike were the sweetest couple to work with! Even though they lived in different states, they were able to keep the romance alive - and their love shows in the pictures from their stunning park wedding. It was a warm Saturday at City Park in Denver, so Mike and the guys tossed a football while waiting for his bride to arrive. The beautiful setup was created by Bella Rents and the stunning flowers provided by Bella Fiori.
Cindy arrived in a stunning vintage Rolls Royce, which matched her theme perfectly - Cindy loves Art Deco and The Great Gatsby. After a short ceremony at the park, the guests were escorted to the Oxford Hotel (one of the oldest hotels in Denver!) where her guests enjoyed a station-style dinner. The delightful cake was created by Slice Cake Studio and Shutterbooth had the guests giggling and taking pictures all night! Planning and design by Gabby at Save the Date Events.
Many thanks to the amazing to the amazing team at Studio JK for these images. So romantic!
We had such an amazing time planning Lindsey & David’s wedding in the beautiful mountain town, Aspen. We couldn’t have asked for better weather that July weekend!
The lovely couple hosted their family and friends at the historic Hotel Jerome, where the intricate carved wood ceilings, beautiful antique furniture and lush textiles went perfectly with Lindsey’s wedding style; she wanted to stick with a soft blushing color theme, mainly whites with a hint of pale pink.
The ceremony was held at the stunning Maroon Bells (probably my number one favorite ceremony spot in the state!) and the reception in the Wheeler Room at Hotel Jerome. The bride envisioned, along with her florist The Aspen Branch, the tables set with low landscape style gardens with moss, lush roses, garden greens and a few pops of pale pink peonies. Guests danced the night away to the DJ from A Music+ and enjoyed the beautiful (and delicious!) cake from Delissious Cake Studio. Planning and design by Gabby at Save the Date Events.
Thanks to the amazing team at Zorn Photography for these images - it was a blast to work with them!
We loved working with Stephanie and Sam for their completely unique wedding in downtown Denver. The edgy collided with softness for this devastatingly beautiful bride and her lovely details. Steph loved whimsical and swirly patterns, while Sam preferred sharp angles and bold lines.
Thanks to the amazing Plum Sage Flowersand their team, they were able to pull this off in the details. From the graphic linens, to the soft lush florals, there was a marriage of their style preferences at every turn!
Stephanie’s couture purple gown was a hand-drawn by the bride herself and created by the fabulous Alisa Benay. Steph also created her necklace, which fell delicately down her back (and coordinated with the dress, of course!)
We loved the art-inspired dishes created by the chefs at Catering by Design that paired perfectly with the stunning cake by Intricate Icings, in the setting of their reception at ArtWork Network on Santa Fe.
We had the pleasure of pulling together all the details for Michelle and Ted’s Wedding in Keystone. The rain held off and we had a beautiful mountain top ceremony followed by a reception at The Summit House. This was truly a family affair, all of the florals and centerpieces were provided by a family friend who drove the items from Texas and set them up with a lot of love. Guests enjoyed a beautiful meal and cake provided by Keystone Resorts. The crowd danced the night away to tunes from Great Time DJ and hopped in a gondola photobooth provided by Ear2Ear photobooths Thank you to Tiffany with Avant Images for documenting the day and sharing the images with us! We had a blast making this day perfect for Michelle and Ted and remember “Today I will be happier than a bird with a french fry”. Planning and coordination by Brynn at Save the Date Events.
Thuy and Curtis had an amazing and elegant wedding in downtown Denver this past May! Their ceremony took place at Holy Ghost Church; and following the ceremony, guests were led to Kevin Taylor’s at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House to enjoy a five-star reception. The concept for the wedding was originally inspired by a bouquet of red roses, gold orchids, and a touch of ostrich feathers that that had caught the attention of the bride early in the planning stages. However, the bride and groom’s different backgrounds and cultures proved to be equally important to the overall personality of the day’s events, as the elements of Vietnamese and American tradition were brought together for a totally unique experience. Little touches such as the photo booth near the dance floor gave guests a chance to leave a lasting impression with the happy couple. Thank you to Patrick Edmiston for the beautiful photos!
We are so excited that our photo shoot made the cover of the latest issue of Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine! Amber, one of our pro event planners, designed and coordinated the entire photo shoot along with Kelli from Kelli Hunt Photography. You can see the full post, vendors and images on our blog and also on Kelli’s Colorado wedding photography blog.
We are also excited to have Holly and Seth’s incredibly adorable wedding featured in the fall/winter 2011 issue of the Knot Colorado magazine. Gabby, one of our expert planners, coordinated this stunning vintage rustic wedding for Holly and Seth at Chatfield Botanic Gardens last summer. Holly runs the fabulous Mile Hi Bride blog which is a must-read for any bride having a Colorado wedding. You can see Holly and Seth’s wedding on pages 44-47 of the magazine. You can also see their gorgeous Denver wedding on our blog.
We are also proud to have our work from Ashley and Kyle’s wedding featured online with Colorado Weddings Magazine:
Rachael and Kanit were married in June at the gorgeous Della Terra Mountain Chateaux. When coming up with a design for their wedding, they wanted to incorporate modern and unique style with a bit of Asian influence. We absolutely loved working with them over the past year to plan their destination wedding in Colorado. Rachael was so relaxed and easy going during the planning process. She was truly a dream to work with and we love keeping in touch with her and Kanit.
We had such a fun time planning a surprise party for Lindsay’s 30th birthday! Her adorable hubby had a great time getting creative with the details of the event…wanting it to be truly unique! We combined a hip-hop violinist, an ice cream sundae bar with a rooftop deck in the summertime and the results were amazing!

With the help of Amber from Save The Date Events they were able to create the wedding that they have always dreamed of!
